As it turns out, I've actually taken 16 semesters of gifted classes, so it's good to hear that those will be accounted for, along with my other credentials. I know that every school has a different grading system, and I didn't want to confuse you too much. I know that rigor of curriculum is very important to UGA, and AP, joint/dual enrollment, and honors courses are often mentioned. I have taken two AP classes and will have taken 4 college classes by the time I graduate, but does UGA look at the amount of gifted classes taken? My school does not have an honors program or honors classes, but I have taken numerous gifted classes (14 semesters total). My GPA is good (3.897) and so are my test scores (2120 SAT, 32 ACT), but will my gifted classes help me in the rigor department, along with my AP and college classes? I don't want it to look like I've taken all easy classes. Thanks in advance for your help!MGnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1610885684347083635.post-73189984757476172652010-09-08T22:36:55.491-04:002010-09-08T22:36:55.491-04:00Anon: I expect that the Foundation Fellowship/Rams...Anon: I expect that the Foundation Fellowship/Ramsey Scholars application will be available in roughly mid-September.DGraveshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07898528441077213024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1610885684347083635.post-51346373621051277232010-09-08T17:07:46.307-04:002010-09-08T17:07:46.307-04:00Hello,

I confirmed that they were in fact mailed from my previously attended institutions a week later. These transcripts still show up as not received on my status check. My maiden name is on the transcripts that were sent but I used my new last name on the UGA application (there is a place to include previous names used so my maiden name is listed on the App). Could this be the reason that the transcripts have not showed up yet? I know everyone in admissions must be really busy at this time I am just curious if I should be concerned.

Thank you!Kristennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1610885684347083635.post-31092208355163971232010-09-07T10:42:50.286-04:002010-09-07T10:42:50.286-04:00Rick: Transfer decisions are made on a rolling bas...Rick: Transfer decisions are made on a rolling basis, and are generally determined based upon when a student has a completed file.DGraveshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07898528441077213024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1610885684347083635.post-46594337013572799302010-09-07T10:39:59.831-04:002010-09-07T10:39:59.831-04:00Thanks Ms/Mr. Graves...

As well, we have our own application that we control, along with the state application at GA411. Adding another application would mean adding another system from which to set up importing of data, and right now we are just trying to do well with the two we have. You also can apply to many colleges with it and it saves time. Do you think UGA will use the common application in future years?
