My application is in and all items are marked received on my status page except a transcript from a summer college course for 3 credits.There is a note saying that college transcriptsare not required for first year students, so Iam guessing that spot will have a red X throughthe whole process but it is okay. Is that correct?
Anon: Yes, it is fine for you, as a freshman applicant, to not have the college transcript in, although you may want to get it in if your file goes through the holistic review process, as we will then be able to see the summer college course and grade.
i'm about to apply early action(which i'm completly excited about)anyways...i was wondering when we input our grades. do we consider how many A's we get with the 5pt or 10 pts that are added to honors and ap classes or is it just the grade without the points added? i just want to make sure i get it right! :)
Anon: You enter in the grades as they are listed on your transcript. If your teacher grades as listed on your transcript have added weight added, then use these grades. I would also suggest looking at https://www.admissions.uga.edu/article/self_reported_grades_faq.html
I had my scores sent from ACT college board 2 weeks ago to UGA. It still shows my old test score? How can I find out if UGA has received my updated scores. They are higher than what I originally submitted. THANKS. It is close to the deadline!
Anon: We load scores every week, and I believe we will be loading both SAT and ACT scores tomorrow (10/7). If they do not show up by Monday, review your test score report to make sure you sent it to UGA, that your name, SSN and birthdate match what is on your application, and when it was sent. Then, if it is not in by Monday, send an email to email@example.com. As well, if your name, SSN or birthdate is different or you left one of those off your report, put this in the email so we match it up correctly.

DGraves:I've already applied EA for fall 2011 as a freshman, and all of my necessary materials have been received, but I have something to add to the extracurriculars and honors section of the application. I was recently nominated to the Week of Writing committee (we judge and nominate student writing for the writing center W.o.W. board as well as the National Gallery of Writing) at the college I am dual enrolled at (my English 1101 professor nominated me after being impressed by an essay and submitting it to the committee), and my essay was named Best In-Class Essay. The self-reported grades that are asked for is from freshman to senior year right?
Anon: The self-reported grades are from 9th through either 11th or the first term of 12th grade, depending on if you complete your application prior to or after your first term of senior year is complete.
